Tanya Sharma-Moore | Managing Director, Accenture

Tanya leads the growth and sales agenda for Accenture’s Resources client group in Canada, which includes Energy, Natural Resources, Chemical, and Mining industries. Her mandate includes working as a trusted client advisor to unleash the power of One Accenture to Accenture clients by bringing them data-driven insights, new ideas, industry expertise, and end-to-end solutions from across Accenture’s ecosystem. Tanya has an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA, with over 26 years of experience across several unique corporations - lBM, Suncor Energy, Wipro, and Microsoft that have helped shape her business experience.

Tanya specializes in creating win-win arrangements for clients on their most complex large-scale transformations as well as building and leveraging stakeholder relationships to enable businesses to maximize value realization. Over the past 26 years, she has gained extensive global experience in IT outsourcing, business development, sales transformation, strategic planning, digital transformation and mentoring, and managing and leading teams in a matrixed business environment.

She is on the Board for 'Making Changes', and Co-Chair of their ‘Women in Technology’ program. Tanya mentors students as part of the Canadian Center for Advanced Leadership in Business (CCAL) at Haskayne School of Business, Calgary. Previously she was on the Board of Youth Singers of Calgary.

Born in India, Tanya loves tennis, cooking, and spending time with her family.
