Gayle
Gayle had a promising career in oil and gas and had built here skill set and knowledge in the industry. When one of the first recession waves hit Calgary, Gayle’s position was cut. Like many Calgarians, she wondered if she would be able to find another job in her profession.
Three years later, Gayle is still on the job market searching for a position that pays more than minimum wage. After running out of her severance money, Gayle was forced to sell her condo and is now living in a dorm accommodation through a non-profit agency. Although this is not where Gayle thought she would be in her 40s, she is relieved she’s not on the street.
Starting over is not easy, but Gayle is taking the right steps to build her life back. She is now in a training program for a new career focus and visited Dress for Success Calgary for her interview outfit. After her styling, Gayle was so happy and said, “Dress for Success was one of the most positive experiences I’ve had in a long time!”
When Gayle showed off her new interview outfit, her confidence shined, and we know she’ll carry that confidence into her interviews. We wish the best of luck to Gayle and hope to see her soon for her second styling session once she has secured a job.
